The Fall Equinox is upon us for the year 2019.
This is the only one of its kind. The first Fall Equinox of the year, and the last.
The leaves are getting ready to fall, jump, or fly, depending on the leaf. Stand and give them a wave, regardless.
The colors of the world will change. Pumpkins will pump. Little gourds clamor around in awe. And we will make pies, and buy more Cool Whip than any other time of the year.
Wool socks. Sweaters. Car heaters, early in the morning. Witches, heating cauldrons.
The pictures on my walls start to look crooked. The earth is tilting, that’s why.
The Fall Equinox is upon us. Beauty.
