It rattles around up there.

Things I have thought about today.  Not at great length, but things that have just run through my brain, from back to front, or even perhaps, left to right.

Thing One.  Some states seem to be more glamorous than others.  I think this can be demonstrated by the popular songs which have been written about certain states.  California has a boat-load of songs about it.  New York, or at least the Big Apple of it.   Colorado, Georgia, and Sweet Home Alabama.  Heck, even Ohio… and West Virginia have pop song titles.

But you don’t hear many on the good old air waves about Rhode Island.  Or North Dakota. Utah.

One day, I’m going to write a song about Utah.  Bet on it.

Here is another thing.  If Vanilla Cream Pie tastes like vanilla, and Chocolate Cream Pie tastes like chocolate… does Boston Cream Pie taste like Boston?  I’m saying a big “yuck” if it does.  I mean, I know it is popular, but that has to be just awful.

Thing Three:  Pokemon Go… came…. and went.    The Honeymoon is over.  The foreshadowing to its demise was apparent from the start.   I, for one, am glad.  Now it is Pokemon Go Bye.

On a more serious thing.  Forest fires can start from one little match.  The next thing you know, you have thousands of acres burning hot.  Now… I’ve been camping a time or two.   I’ve been in charge of lighting campfires.  How come it takes an entire pack of matches, plus a flame thrower, and a liquid accelerator to get the thing lit?

A seeing/hearing thing.  I love my music.  And sometimes, I like it loud.  But. I turn down the volume in my car, every time I park, or pull into a tight spot.  I think it must somehow help me see better.  I can’t think of any other explanation.

And one more thing.  When someone tells someone else….  “You have your whole life ahead of you”…. technically…. they are correct.  No matter how old you are.

Time to start.  Right now.
