There are good people in the world.
There are terrible people in the world.
It is just how things work in our human world. Some people are caring, and feeling. Others can be quite insensitive, and at times, hurtful.
We have the great fortune that our lives are blessed with the beautiful in spirit. I am thankful for those experiences. I am eternally grateful to be blessed with so many kind and altruistic people.
We have the challenge of existing peacefully with the brutes. The bullies. The malicious.
Sometimes, I am not sure how to handle the challenges. And then….. eventually….a path to follow emerges.
Today we spent time with our grandsons. Tonight, we had dinner with my brother, sister-in-law, nephews, and grandson.
Each experience was tremendous in its own right. With each individual. From drawing pictures… to munching on some good old BBQ ribs.
And then there were some challenges today.
I am learning lessons. There is always a path to take. But which one? I was reminded tonight, to do something positive. Do something good to counterbalance the negative. That is the road to travel upon.
Seek it out. Find the good. Find the next right thing to do. Even if it is unrelated to the situation before you. Search for the place which will bring about a positive outcome. Search for knowledge. For beauty. For peace.
Work for what is right.
Take the high path.
Remain in the light.
I think it is the thing to do.
And if all else fails?
Doodle. All The Day. That is what Polly Wolly does.
