There was a standing ovation at the end. It was a well deserved round of applause. For Our Town.
Yes, we saw a wonderful production of Our Town, this evening, at The Star Theatre, in Eaton, Ohio. The acting was truly splendid, and the directing was great too. I wish I could name them all, but at the moment, my program is on the seat of my car. Nonetheless, the entire cast did a superb job, from the playful start, to the beautiful end.
It was the opening night. If you weren’t there in the crowded theatre, you have two more chances to view it. Saturday evening, or Sunday afternoon.
I am so happy to have been there. Such a great production for a small town group. And how fitting. This beautiful message, which reminds us all to be there — where ever “there” might be. To see every minute. To live it.
Thank you, Director Lisa Marling and the cast of Our Town, for all of this.
