This is the 11th day of the 12th month.  Now, historically, I am certain a lot has happened on this date through the years.  You can just tell how a day smells whether it has a lot of history attached.

John Glenn died today. I didn’t know the guy, personally.  But I thought as astronauts went, he was out of this world.  ….  …..  ..  Okay.  Sorry. But I do think he was pretty cool.  Amazing Astronaut.  Pleasant Pioneer.    Glenn

Lately… I have been down and out in Beverly Hills. And I’m not even IN Beverly Hills. That’s how down and out I  am. Sicker than the proverbial dog. Hold it right there. Let’s back up. Let me explain something. 

Wellllll… I stepped out of the teepee.  And now I’m not only out in the weather, it appears I am under it.   I hope to be home on the range, tomorrow.  Back in the saddle.  All of that.
